ISNB Business Units and Programmes

The organisational units of ISNB are divided into

  • Complex Operational Units (UOC): structures that bring together multi-professional, technical and financial resources and ensure the direction and organisation of the activities for which they are responsible, as well as the achievement of the objectives assigned to them.
  • Institutional programmes: cross-cutting care structures that ensure uniform planning, organisation and evaluation of activities in the relevant field.
  • Institute Simple Operational Units (UOSI): structures, not identifiable within a complex structure, which bring together multi-professional, technical and financial resources with autonomy limited to the objectives assigned by the Institute Management.
  • Simple Operational Units (UOS): clearly identifiable structures within the complex structure to which they belong, with autonomy limited to the objectives assigned by the management of the complex structure of reference.

The operational units may also be inter-company in order to reach agreements between health authorities in the region.
