Aim
The aim of the workshop is to provide an introduction to the most frequent statistical methods used when summarizing results of diagnostic accuracy studies. This workshop will provide an opportunity for those who are contemplating a diagnostic accuracy systematic review to learn more about the basic statistical methods, and for those who already know something to be updated with the changes that have occurred in recent years.

To whom the workshop is aimed
The level of the workshop is basic therefore not only statisticians can attend it but also those who have some knowledge about biostatistics. The workshop will be taught in English. It is advisable to bring your own notebook, which can access wireless Internet.
In the practical sessions REVMAN will be used so it is necessary to download it from the Internet (http://ims.cochrane.org/revman/download).
